Hello Sir, My friend got married 6 yrs back and she dont have mother in law and father in law is advocate. Her husband has affires with other girls and when my friend(shilpi) questions him , his father says her women are for kicthen and she should not question him. And husband keeps abuse her saying he hate dark girl and he want fair womens. He beated her sometimes aswel. He did not till now tocuhed his son. When shilpi asks for than why he married her ? he replies saying he wanted to prove he is men and he want to show socity he also married and he want a women for his children.She beared all the torcher 6 yrs and now her father in law says if she dont divorce he will keep affire cases on her and keep her to court .So she afried and for her self to free from this mental tocher and distrubance she went ahead and trying for divorce.Sir as a friend am not understanding or dream how she live her life alone throught the life. Please help what all laws are there for married women live.
Inform your friend to first file police complaint that she is facing physical n mental harrasement from her husband and her in laws .... As you said your friend father in law is an advocate tell her to write a letter to bar counsel about her father I'll treatment towards her ... So that he gets a black mark on Hus carrier ... And later on tell her yo file domestic violence, dowry harrasement case against her husband and in laws ... Later tell her to file maintaiance suit and also divorce ... By doing all these they will be trapped ... As her husband is having affairs tell your friend to keep a track of all those chats n photo to prove his fault

Hai...., In India married womens are more safer than their husband when it comes to the question of law. if unfortunately there is a quarrel between married persons law allways stands behind the married women first and married women can file a case under 498 a of IPC , under 494 for bigamy, 497 for Adultery and also under Domestic violence act for mental torture, for chaild custody and also for maintenance And divorce . All the above provisons are specially available for married women first. It is upto married women to choose any one or all of the above

First thing tell ur friend to file domestic violence case. Second she should not be worried about any case. Their is chance given to her to prove her inosence.if she gives divorce it loss for her not for husband.
