Child custody is compulsory for wife if she dont want ?

Im living separately from my husband and 17 year old child. My husband earn 80k to 1 lac from his job , i work in bank and make around 2.5 lac monthly.. i dont want to keep my child with me and my husband force me to take child custody.. can he do that legally? And im bound to pay child maintenance if my child is living with my husband..?

Well, if you are an Earning Lady, then, if you don't want to keep the child with you, then, you have to pay for the child support, if your Husband demands Child Support in Court, considering, both of you are equally responsible for his birth and both of you have to contribute fairly to grow and flourish him up, for making him a great Indian Citizen.

Not necessary that the custody must be with the mother considering the age of your child is 17years. Both you and your husband can mutually decide the custody and maintenance of your child. Feel free to contact me for seeking any further legal advice as regards the same.

Well, your Husband cannot force you to keep the Child with you. If he also doesn't want to keep the Child, then, you guys can leave the Child in an Orphanage, they will take care of him in a better manner than you guys. May God bless the child.
