Child custody and change of father name after divorce

I going to marry a divorce lady who has a child of earlier husband. Now how can I change his father name and put my name in birth certificate. The child is 3yrs old
You would have to obtain the consent of the biological father
In case of a divorce the rights of the child remain as it is unless otherwise provided by the court in the divorce decree
In your case it is essential to derive an authorisation in the form of affidavit before 1st class magistrate abandoning the rights of the biological father over his child
