Cheating Husband, Filing a divorce and sue him under law

Hi Team,
An incident where Husband is cheating on wife with a foreigner in America. Husband and the wife both are with work visa currently present in US. However the husband has asked the wife to move to a different state and maintaining a relationship with a foreigner.
We have got the chat conversations between the foreigner and the husband representing an affair between them.
What are the options to sue this husband under the law?
Does chat conversations be enough to use as proof in the court?

chat conversations are substantial proof for adultery. please note presently adultery is considered as cruelty and is ground of divorce under marriage laws and also for claiming compensation under domestic violence act in india
