Sir, My husband had an affair for few years, when i found out in 2020, he left the house to live near the other lady. There has been no communication between us since. The house i live is on his name. But the ongoing home loan is on our joint name. What options do i have regarding the house.
First of all file D.V application in court and claim interim relief that he should make payment of EMI as interim relief. And also move with application separately for monthly alimony. You can file separation petition on ground of adultery.

Well, in order to secure your Home, send a Legal Notice to your Husband too to co operate in getting the House to be put on Joint Name of both of you, as both of you have been paying the EMIs' for that property. Similarly, you have to send the Notice to Bank too to get the process completed for entering Joint names of both of you as co owners in their record, after execution of Registration of Joint names for the above mentioned property.
