Caught my wife cheating and I want divorce but my wife is not willing to divorce. can i file a divorce on grounds of adultery and extramarital affair. I have chats proof and hotel stay proof. It was going on since 1 year

Yes. You can file for divorce on the grounds of adultery and cruelty. I believe you have screenshots and emails of the hotel bookings which are sufficient enough to lodge a case for divorce against her. Once the case is filed, the case will be sent to mediation and you have a possibility of reaching a settlement in the mediation to close the case amicably.

Dear Sir, Yes, you can get divorce on the available records and also try to lodge a complaint against that guy under Section 498 of IPC which is as follows: Section 498 in The Indian Penal Code Enticing or taking away or detaining with criminal intent a married woman.—Whoever takes or entices away any woman who is and whom he knows or has reason to believe to be the wife of any other man, from that man, or from any person having the care of her on behalf of that man, with intent that she may have illicit intercourse with any person, or conceals or detains with that intent any such woman, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.
