Cash in lieu of gold jewellery

06-Feb-2024 (In Divorce Law)
Sir, My ex-husband wanted to give new jewellery since he has sold my old jewellery which was given during marriage. But he is insisting 1) He will make the jewellery as per 2006 gold rate because it's the same year the gold jewellery was made. 2) Or he will pay me equivalent to that as per the gold rate which was on 2006. I wanted to know is this correct to do on his part?

you mentioned point 1 and 2 both are not agree mam, It is not correct because he has to replace the jewelry he sold and he should not replace the amount as he wishes and same sovereigns of gold. he didn't given the jewellery you file the police complaint against your ex-husband.

Hello madan regarding your legal issues you can very well get the gold equivalent to the value at present in the market or stand in the view that you need the same old jewelry sold by him. Thank you all the best feel free to contact me.
