Case of Divorce from Female's point of view
02-Oct-2023 (In Divorce Law)
The husband is asking to separate from wife effective on 1 October 2017 after marrying on 23 April 2015. This decision was taken on 1 October 2017. However, the wife has not expressed such interest. Both of them are blaming each other for cheating each other. Husband has recorded a video of wife being with someone else in a hotel. However wife and that 3rd person are not seen together either in the bed nor at anytime during the shot. The video frames of the husband forcefully snatching his wife's covering sheet, while she is lying on the bed in her lingerie. All the video was shot by the husband and his friends. The husband also claims that he has recording of the phone calls between the wife and her said boyfriend. Wife has screenshots of the Husband's erotic whatsapp chats with her said girlfriend. Husband is asking for divorce, what should be wife's steps?. She wishes to recover all the future maintenance and ailments and gifts and cash given to husband upon marriage.
As per the above summary of the facts, Wife will get maintenance as per the law, first, I want to note and hear the details of the facts. In case of of divorce the husband has to provide the maintenance to the wife.
Has the husband, whilst asking to separate, mentioned anything about what his proposal is? Or is he assuming that the wife will agree to Divorce him for free as he has some alleged proof? Im assuming it is the later. If that is the case, it is clear that he is being advised. Therefore, the wife needs to play her cards smart. Firstly, under no circumstances should she leave the house, assuming that they are living under the same house. She should also start collecting whatever proof she can against the husband. This is to bring him on the table for an settlement. Contact for further details.
