CASE DISPOSED - Contested allowed
25-Jan-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I applied for mutual divorce and went through 6 months cooling period. After the end of six month myself and spouse appeared in court and gave our oral acceptance in front of judge and signed papers. My lawyer confirmed that this case will be close and divorce will be provided. Could someone please explain what is CONTESTED- Allowed means. Is this case closed or cancelled??
the contested allowed means the divorce was granted and it is the decree and judgement order. you have to apply for copy of order and it should be with you at all times. it is the status of the case that it was allowed
