yes. under section 125 CR.P.C. only thing is wife need to prove that her income is not sufficient to maintain equal to her husband during the marriage. she will get maintenence only till she remarry. Father property is immaterial for purpose of maintenence.

Yes, she can depending upon the fact that the money is not enough for her subsistence and incase she needs to maintain a life which in consonance with the life she had with her husband when they were together.

in every case any wife can claim maintenance, provided if the husband shows the proof that her wife is maintaining equal standard from her own earnings before the court then court only can give the relief from paying maintenance, but cannot waive off the right of maintenance of wife.
