Phone conversation could form the evidence, but subject to conditions. Not only that it has to be proved like any other form evidence, but also precise conditions apply if you are producing the record of the conversation. However, in the absence of material facts, any definite suggestion is impossible.

The consideration of contents of phones conversation is irrelevant in a family case. But the call list can be considered as a corroborative evidence. For example, in a divorce case on the ground of adultery, continuous long time phone conversations between the parties can be considered as an evidence to assume the existence of a relationship as between them. Contents is relevant only in very serious offence as to affect the security of the nation and the like

ELECTRONIC DEVICES CANNOT BE CONSIDERED AS THE RELEVANT EVIDENCE IN THE MATRIMONIAL CASES ALSO. BUT IT CAN REDUCE THE MERIT OF THE CASE WHILE PASSING THE DECREE. EVEN IN THE MATRIMONIAL CASE IT CANNOT BE CONSIDERED AS THE SOLID EVIDENCE.
