Can online dating in seperation effect divorce?

My cousin is living with us from two years because his husband left him she confronted him of affairs n he start beating her. Her inlwas know about affair n our family tried a lot through talks n panch but he didn't agree to stay ,Now we r going to NCW n than court for divorce. But during this period my cousin met a guy online they got close n she start dating him. She hasn't met him till now but they talk a lot on WhatsApp chat n call. We didn't stop because she was already depressed n going through a lot but now we r afraid it might effect her case ? Should she stop texting n calling him or she can met him. Can this be used against her in case her husband n inlaws didn't know . Can they ask court for chat n call records she is worried a lot . She may hv get too close this guy n talk about a lot personal things. Can this be used against her in anyway ? Can she met him or stop contacting him?
