Can Lawyer Proceed My Divorce Case as Case reached to final stage.

Dear Sir/MamCan my lawyer proceed trial in my Absence in Divorce Case where the case already reached nnto last stage, Only Last evidence is remaining of Opp Party and post which Lawyer Argument nnwill be there.Do I have to submit application to honorable Judge requesting for Granting and Authorizing nnmy Lawyer to proceed the case in my absence.?nnThe Divorce Case is in Jhansi and I stay in Mumbai, nnAs I have to appear for interview which is very important to get job because I am paying nnAlimony of 20000 rupees Monthly to her in 125 Case, hence not able to appear case also nnfear of threat from opp party who might retaliateThanks & RegardsnVikas Mishra
