Can judge give divorce if husband is not willing to give divorce

Within two months of our marriage, he asked my jewels for his sister marriage and when i refused he beat me and bite me. When he bit me there was blood all over the room. We submitted this while applying for divorce. But he is not willing to give me divorce. How long can prolong this case without giving divorce? Can judge give me divorce without his consent?

if you are able to prove your cruelty part done by your husband then just can give divorce to you on the basis alone and as per your facts of your case it can't be understand that you have went for a physical violation by your husband and you can prove it before the court and can get divorce on the ground itself

The court will hear both the sides and pass the judgment on merits. If you have valid points and substantial evidence to prove the cruelties you suffered, you may present your argument very strongly If you are having a good case then you will certainly get divorce easily.
