Can i travel abroad if divorce proceedings are going on

Hello Sir/Madam I (hindu religion) have applied for a divorce from my wife which is pending now and my wife is not ready to go for a mutual consent. During this pending case i'm getting a chance to go to an abroad for a work for a year. After this assignment i will come back to india. This is something like Intra company transfer for an year. Can i go to abroad for work for an year during this pending case. Also i heard that i can authorise one person on behalf of me. But i'm not interested for that. I want to hold the case for that particular one year time period., is it possible? Please clarify..
