Can I seek for divorce if I have no physical relationship with my wife

If wife is not comfortable in physical as she is not emotionally connected And she is asking some time from her partner as they r not staying together since 1 year. But husband only looking for physical not emotional . And he is not undertanding her at all and she never understands her. He abused n beaten her and left house bcoz of this . He is not picking her call n no reply of her message . What should wife do . She don't have any trust n confidence on him . She is scared to spend her life with her . What shall she do
There are many options available for the wife - she can seek divorce based on cruelty and file a DV case for maintenance and a 498 A complaint. Husband also has the option of filing for divorce under cruelty

She can immediately register a complaint before the jurisdictional police station for abuse and beating. Also this can be a very good reason for seeking divorce and she can claim maintenance from her husband for her personal needs and livelihood if she chooses to.

She can file the Judicial separation in case if she is not interested to continue with him
In your problem it was informed that they are not in physical way,and also he is left primse. In case if she is not interested to continue she can go for divorce.
