Can I marry again with the consent of my wife

23-May-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I am a Hindu married man and I am a government servant. I love some girl X. Due to some unfortunate situations I had to marry another girl Y. Both X and Y need me very much. Now I can neither forget X nor can I leave Y. I am in a very painful situation. Is there any way by which we three can live together legally? Can I marry X with the consent from Y without giving divorce to Y? Is it legal? Does it have impact on my job? I want to live with both X and Y. Please dont misunderstand me. I am not asking like this for physical pleasures. My situation is like this. Please suggest me some way.

Hi
Nothing wrong if you choose to live with both X and Y if both of them agree.
but Y will never get any recognition in law as your wife.
Only X, children born to you and X, Children born to you and Y will get recognition as your legal heir.
Your government job is at risk if X or Y or your children choose to complaint against you . So if you keep all of them happy, then there is no worries.
Or else, you need to officially divorce your first wife to get married to Y.

if both x and y are accepted to live with you without any objection then you have to take permission from court that you are having capacity to maintain the both x and y and y is also having no objection to marry x. so by the permission of the court you can marry x also.

Firstly have consent from your wife, it she is really OK with your wish to have a 2nd wife following might help you

Legally, since Hindu Law prohibits from marrying for the second time with the 1st wife being not divorced and staying together. Hence, we have a provision under Muslim Law. The way to do it is

Get converted to Muslim, and then get married for the second time. This is only legal way.

Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana, Chander Mohan and Dharmendra Hema Malini married in this way. Which is 100% legal and your 1st wife won't have any right to file case against your second marriage.
OR
you may simply get married but that will be void (null) according to Hindu Marriage Act and if your first wife file case against you, Which will result in jail for you upto 7 years maximum.

I suggest you must have consent from your first wife as well as second for better legal married life
