Can I divorce based on verbal abuse

19-Jul-2023 (In Divorce Law)
We both are Christians and we are married for 10 months and are separated for last 4 months. My wife is totally different to my mindset and her whole family is harrasing and abusing verbally me and my family. I am not able to take it anymore and took her for counselling where she made it clear that she won't change. How do I proceed for divorce. Does it matter who applies first ? She does not want divorce but won't live happy with me either.

Except on medical grounds it is very difficult to file divorce case before one year of marriage. You may collect strong evidence during this period and also get issue a legal notice calling upon her to know whether she is ok with mutual divorce. If initiation is made by your or her is of no consequence. Discuss

Yes Sir, you have option that send a leas notice for demand her to join matrimonial house. If she replied to your notice then you will come to what is in her mind, if she is not ready to comply the notice then you have option to proceed for divorce petition. you are required personal cunsulatation. kindly contact further details and information. Thank you.
