Can husband withdraw/amend his written statement

21-May-2024 (In Divorce Law)
Wife has filed RCR case. Husband in written statement has mentioned that he is ready to take back wife at home. wife also wants the same. It seems it is a tactic from husband so that wife will withdraw RCR petition, because in reality he does not wants his wife to join him. My question is: If wife say yes to join, can husband withdraw his written statement? Can he amend his statement stating that he wants to contest RCR?

Hi Good Afternoon, As you mentioned that, In his written statement husband clearly states that the husband is ready to stay with wife. their is no possibility of ammendment. and husband will not able to withdraw his written statement. but merely he submit his ws does not mean to end the case. if court is pass such type of relevant order then that order is abided to both. but still matter is continue. for more details and querries then contact us and visit our website

If Husband says yes to join the company of his Wife and restore the physical relationship with her and agrees to perform all his duties as Husband, then, he will surely instruct his lawyer to get his statement recorded before the court that he wants to restore conjugal relationship with his wife. However, it cannot be denied that this is a tactic played by Husband to manipulate his wife to withdraw the RCR Petition, under the impression, that, he is ready to accept her.
