Can domestic violence and Alimony case filed against NRI husband from

My husband is in USA. Iam in India. Filed 489-A case in India. But he is not attending court in India. He is enjoying in USA not bothered about me and my daughter. Therefore, I want to file Domestic violence and Alimony cases. Can I file the cases giving POA to my brother in USA? or else can I file case online? Please explain the procedure.

hi you could file domestic violence and maintenance cases against your husband and inlaws in India only and if he is not attending to court then you could obtajn ex parte order and if he is not paying amount then you could execution petition to attach the assets

Yes!! if he or you hold the Indian Citizenship or the marraige is commenced in India. You can file the Domestic Violence here in India, which will compel him to appear before the court with the summons and if he doesn't respond the same be send to embassy, ll help make him appear before the court.
