Can Divorcee get ex-husband's pension?

I am a Divorcee, Hindu and 72 years old. I live in Chennai. I have 1 son(52 years old). I got divorced some 40 years back. I do not have proof of divorce because at that time and age, it was hell for me. My family too was not very supportive. My ex-husband has remarried and is having 2 daughters. I did not remarry. He never came to see his son. His 2nd wife would not allow that. Also lot of ego and tension between my family members and his. Now my mother, father and brothers are all dead. I never got any alimony or any maintenance from my ex. Now I heard that my ex is getting a lot of pension. I want to know 1. if I can claim some of it because I need it. 2. if I can get a copy of my divorce decree. 3. Any other rights that I need to know as a divorcee. Kindly reply.

In principle, you can claim maintenance from your ex-husband due to change of circumstances. It's been 40 years since divorce and why haven't your son help you? It will be difficult to get copy of the divorce decree, unless by chance it's available in the court records. You don't need copy of the divorce decree to apply for maintenance.

you cannot chat what kind of device to get whether you get expert advice and order copy is available with your husband gift order copy is available with husband second marriage may be performed on the basis of the divorce order copy so the second wife definitely know about the divorce copy so you cannot claim any pensionary right if there is no knowledge about the divorce and you can try for the pensionary benefits
