Can divorce case be filed when one case already pending

I belong to hindu religion . Can i file a divorce if one divorce case is already in process but not in same state.
No you can't. It is settled principle of law as also mentioned in the Indian Constitution that for one cause of action two case can not be file, leave apart the fact that one case is filed in the one state so that another case of same nature or for the same cause of action will be filed in another state.If you want to file you have to established that nature and cause of the action is different from the case already going on .
