Can a girl before marrying boy can impose dowry case on boy

My parents denied on girl as family elders were not happy with intercaste marriage. Hence when covered the above fact with girls parents , girl started saying and treating to impose dowry act on my brother for no reason. How to escape and get rode of this thing

Yes she has the right to complain under Dowry Prohibition Act 1961 even before the marriage has taken place. Was a list of items demanded as dowry ever given to the girl's family? Is there is any evidence to prove so or threaten on the ground of it? If yes then your parents may need to take some precautions.
