Being harassed asking settlement case already filed

Hi have an existing case filed on 2020 for divorce ...... Now my case stage is in hearing my previous advocate was not prompt to court and also was in support with the respondent which led to such a delay .... Me and my spouse does not have any marital relationship just to be clear in 2022 after 4 yrs she has entered my home and literally harassing me and my parents asking for settlement ...... we are a middle class family and cannot go thru this struggle anymore...

Dear Sir, You have to get issue a termination notice by yourself through Register Post and engage any other Advocate. Be informed that Family cases being disposed of very lately due to number of cases in Family Courts are on higher side. You may request the Court to take your case on priority or go to the High Court to get mandatory order against the Family Court to dispose of your case within next four months.

if hearing means argument, then it will be over soon. but if it is hearing on some I.A it may take some time. you may get the matter referred to some mediation and ask for settlement . she may ask for alimony. if you agree for the alimony or if negotiable than you can enter agreement in mediation and close it before court. thank you.
