Appearing Court and ex parte evidence

24-Dec-2025 (In Divorce Law)
My niece's husband filed a court case seeking to reconcile with her. Due to illness, she missed her hearing on Dec 20, 2026. The court status now shows the next hearing is Feb 2, 2026, for 'ex-parte evidence.' What steps should we take, will she receive another summons, and is a judgment in his favor of her husband? Can we now approach the court with the apology letter? Their religion is Hindu.

you would be required to file a IA to set aside the exparte order, usually the court will set aside the exparte order, once it is set aside after that you can contest the case, feel free to contact me for any legal advice.
