Is your case pending in the court or you want to file a case to annul the marriage? You need to procure her medical reports on the basis of which the degree of illness and its level would determine whether you can be granted what you need. As for the violence too the degree of violence she administers needs to be taken in account. With these two things you need to have a consultation.

Then you shall file for divorce with immediate effect and the process is a bit time consuming therefore the earlier the better it will be. All audio video that you have shall be used in the trial during the pendency and if you have any other narration kindly share for further discussions.

The remedy that you have in this case is two fold. Firstly you can seek a declaration from the court that since this marriage was based upon certain facts that have been concealed from you so the marriage just be dissolved on that basis. Secondly, you can also seek damages from your wife and family for all the types of mental, societal and emotional harassment meted out to you on account of this act. There are many more options that you have.

You can seek divorce by annulment under section 12 of the Hindu marriage Act. Also her acts of physical violence amounts to cruelty under section 13(1) of HMA is a ground for grant of divorce. If she cannot function in her everyday life due to her psychological issues, then too the said section will get you decree of divorce.
