Advice if not able to attend the first hearing of divorce

I married under hindu law and after 7 years my wife file case for divorce since m in mumbai and case file is in ahmedabad m not able to ho one my first court date due to finacial issue is there any problem if I don't appear in court on first hiring also what can do after that as m facing finacial issue not able to hire an lawyer

No issue you can go to court on next date of hearing.
You can get a lawyer from legal services Authority of the concern state , he will not charge anything from you .
You can request the Judge.

after service of summons if you couldnot attend the court, you should hire a lawyer from Ahmedabad and be present in next hearing. If you cannot hire lawyer you can approach District legal services authority. they can provide you a lawyer free of charge.
