Adultry, Pressurizing for divorce

My husband has been having physical relationship with a woman and keeps meeting with her in various hotels in Goa, Delhi, Manali, Pondicherry, Kolkata. He has spend lakhs on her maintenance, shopping and education as well as to get her jobs. He wants to marry her and has been harassing me to give him divorce. He said as I am employed, i should not ask him for any settlement and get out of his life so that he can marry his mistress and enjoy his life in peace. His lawyer has stated that he should set up some men claiming to be my boy friends and set me up for adultery so that he can get divorce easily and won't have to pay me any settlement. I have recordings for all of this. What legal action can I take.

why don't you file a domestic violence case against him for mental harrasment and register a First informant report for the ill treatment, mental harrasment and trauma which is being meted by him to you consistently.

First of all you have to decide whether you want to continue staying with him as wife or want to separate by asking alimony or maintenance from court. And if you do not want to give him divorce, let him file the case in court and you can contest it.

If breakdown of your relationship is eminent then you should also take a legal recourse and file a complaint against your husband and in laws. You may file 498 A complaint along with a domestic violence case before magistrate
