Acceptance of Whats App messages as proof in court of law

11-Dec-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hello, wanted to ask if whats app messages can be produced as evidence in court of law. If yes, then are all the contacts to be verified on whats app for their chat messages or only specific contacts on whom I think need to be reviewed?

it all depends upon the type of case. If it is a case investigated by police then generally it will be sent to forensic and it's report will be used as substantive evidence provided that a certificate is issued by the under section 65B of evidence Act.
