Abusive husband and have terrible drinking issue

My aunt is trapped in an abusive marriage where her husband is both physically and verbally abusive due to his alcohol abuse. She recently suffered a severe injury when he physically assaulted her. She wants to leave the marriage, but he's asking for another chance. Her family supports her, and they've filed a verbal complaint with the police. Despite apologizing to the police, he remains unrepentant. She needs guidance on steps to take that ensure her safety and teach him a lesson for life.

Dear Client, In that situation, your aunt should take a written compromise deed therein mention all relevant details about the incident and also signed by Husband and two family members then think about settlement.

on the above mentioned query she can file complaint case of domestic violence against him in the concerned criminal court. after filling of complaint when the judicial officer admit the case then he orders for summon.
