About registering divorce in another city

I have registered marriage in palakkad and now am residing in Chennai so can I file divorce in Chennai??

If you are the wife then you can file divorce case at your place of residence. Other options are place of marriage, place of registration, place where you last lived together with your husband, etc. So if you are the wife and staying at Chennai then you can file for divorce at Chennai.

no problem mam your marriage registered in Palakkad now ,your residing in chennai right you have valid chennai residents proof aadhar card ration card or voter id you can file divorce petition in chennai place of cohabitation or husband or wife residential area you can file divorce petition in chennai
