About Filing Reply To My Maintenance Case

Sir..I have filed maintenance case in the month of January.. My husband stays in other states..I am from Maharashtra..Postal acknowledgement says that he has received summons..Yet he did not appear and now the pandemic situation prevailing.. How court will proceed..!!?Shall the court make him exparte and pass the appropriate orders!?My husband is taking the benefits of non functioning of the court..I have heard that delay in order to my maintenance application amounts to violation of human rights..!! Court should consider it as an important case..
In such situation you can file application for interim maintenance and can submit before the court to take fast action and take hearing in above said matter. Also you can file separate criminal application under Domestic Violence Act.

madam courts are over burdened and currently with the pandemic situation only urgent matters are being taken up..
if you wish to expedite the matter then file an application showing urgency in the matter and accordingly court will take it up and matter will proceed.
