125 crpc - first hearing, reasons court accepts for longer date
13-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hello - I’m gonna attend for first hearing after receiving only summons . 1. What happens if I don’t attend first hearing after receiving summons 2. What reasons court accepts if I request 3months time to reply if I attend .. please provide your valuable suggestions
Dear Sir/Madam,
Nothing happens if you do not appear for first hearing and some judges may place you ex-parte and post it for Petitioner's evidence. Normally, three months time will not be given at a time. You may ask for time for 30 days at first instance like that in all you may get time for more than three months to file your objections.
