Will I Be Charged for Being In Illegal WhatsApp Group??

Can I be charged for accepting to Join which share Illegal images and Video???.....I stayed in those groups for less than 1 hours and nothing was shared(No image/Video or text) while I was there.

No U may be named in FIR, if any FIR is being lodged regarding matter you are talking about. For every offence, it is necessary to prove guilty mind, if it is found on face of it, that there is no involvement of yours in that group, then you can not be prosecuted.

You will not be charged with any criminal offence but if the group admin is caught for doing any illegal activities then you can also be called by the police for investigation purposes because it’s not hard for them to get out the details of the chats.
