Someone made my fake account on a social media platform

i am a student studying an engineering.one unknown person created a fake account on my name and profile with my pic on a social media platform and sending me messages and he is using unparliamentary words.i felt very word for his words.if my parents known this they will feel bad.so i cant say this to them also.i warned him for not do i said that if u repeat this again i will complain in cyber crime from that onwards he didn't do any message but i am not sure about him if send messages again then what i have to do and to whom i have to consult.can u suggest me please.
