Sorry to hear about this.. There are many dots missing in your statement. For example, how did you reach the job consultancy..? (online or offline..?) Is the website still there..? is the consultancy registered by any Government organizations like MCA, GST Or anything..? How did you it was a fake offer letter..? (did he impersonate other company) Where and how did he sign on the promissory note..? (Did you meet him/Have you seen his face) Was the 3.5 L paid in single shot or in installments..? (was it paid in cash/online) Is the website still available.? (Are there any online traces available) Do you only want your money or him getting punished or both.? You can approach the Police to file a criminal case Or directly approach the magistrate for a criminal case Or Approach Consumer Court for a unfair trade practice or Approach regular Civil Courts or settle the issue in Lok Adaalat as well.
