Legal action against social networking for violating privacy concerns

Can I file case against social networking site regarding privacy concern. Social networking sites ahve always been a centre point for privacy concern. In these social networking sites anyone can upload anything in these sites like if someone does any funny activity or anything else so in that case anyone can take video of it and publish it publicly which is very bad. So can we file case regarding this. Is there any law by which we can fight?
Yes it can be filed ! There is provision regarding the breach of confidentiality and privacy and punishment for violation of privacy under section 66E as amended by 2008 of IT act and 72 of Information Technology Act, 2000.
