Is using Facebook of someone else without permission cybercrime

Hi my girlfriend broke with me few days back ,I knew her Facebook I'd nd password so after brkup I open her account and found out she was already in a relationship when she was dating me .so I took the screen shot of the chat form her messenger nd send those screenshot to her mother to reveal her real identity.now the question is have I committed any cyber crime,is this act of mine punishable under any law?
Yes it is an offence. One thing if you have realized is that you have infiltrated ti her privacy through cyber. Please don't do this is future as in certain occasion you may be innocent but will invite unwarranted trouble. I hope you are an adult and understand what I want to tell.
