Is it legal to have online betting sites in India

I was aware that gambling and betting are against our law,but there are various websites are other platforms that provide these services online. How are they not getting sued?? Is it legal to open such websites in India???

If they are operating within the territory of india and you are a victim of their foul play you can approach your jurisdictional Cyber Police Station and file a complaint.There are several activities which is sometimes recognised in other countries are not necessarily recognised in india.Casinos in Goa is a type of gambling restricted permissions are given for their operations.
