Facebook is harassing a lot of people daily.

My account was 10 yrs old on fb and they suddenly disabled it. I submitted the appeal provided them the govt. id that my account was not fake and it with same name, after reviewing they still say that I harm their community guidelines and they will not review the decision again.
I have my lot of contacts on fb as well as photos and memories. Moreover they have my photo id now. Most of my other accounts were linked with facebook and I'm also not able to access them.
Is there any legal solution for this type of harassment by such a big company ?
There is no such remedy per se. However, this query reminds me of another case in the recent memory. Wherein a senior lawyer namely Sanjay Hegde twitter account was blocked by twitter for failing to follow community guidelines. He had sent a legal notice to Twitter and later approached Delhi High Court. Delhi high court had passed an interim order on the very first hearing directing twitter not to delete any data from the account pending the case. Your case is also very similar to Sanjay Hegde's matter. Normally social media platform allow some sort of appeal within some time, you can appeal and if that doesn't work out, later send a legal notice to Facebook. Although these are private companies but it cannot be ignored that they are performing a public function with the amount of private information they contain. These days lot of people are also doing business via Facebook, instagram and blocking of accounts can adversely affect them. Regards. Contact 98-188-23-868.

hello client hru as i can read ur issue is seems to be very serious issue for an individual to deal with this type of issue i agree tht facebooknis trying to harras you without any reason in this matter you need to move to court if law as you are saying tht you have many other accounts linked to your facebook id only as well as you have many old memories with hold with the same account in this matter you need to immidatelly move to court of law at least in high court then only you are able to get you facebook account back into your hands. otherwise there is no other way.
