Email password sharing issue need help

One friend had explicit pictures of many people and he has shared his email password to some of his friends. His friend told me his password and i was able to login and i could see he was playing with me and lot of women for years. Now he has reported this as hacking. It was not hacking since he had only shared his password. How do i defend this ?
file the complaint in cyber crime narrating the facts , they will register the fir against him and crack the whip by doing investigation and takes necessary action against him , don't delay he might come up with some other defence and if explicit pictures starts circulates you can't prevent in internet world easily
