Boyfriend's exgf wants to file defamation case against me

My boyfriend has relation with a girl who was married and has 2 kids and seperated. They broke up as he can't married the girl who has already married once and has kids. After they broke up this girl has edited my boy friend pic as " married " without his authorization and posted on her facebook wall. He even warn her not to do so but she never listen. Now being frustrated and angry with what she has done. I also created a facebook account with her name and pic stating her profile as married has 2 kids and separated which is true. after 3 days this account has been deactivated.Now this girl want to go to court stating that she was defame by me and my boyfriend. I also make a mistake by creating a face book account on her name. And her mistake that she edited my boyfriend pic as married and posted on Facebook. we all 3 are wrong in fact.

Hi, I would defend you as your side there was no problem as you mentioned (On FB) the truth that the lady was married and has kids. But the married lady marked your boy friend wrongly as 'married' which is criminal defamation u/s 499,500 of IPC and 66A of IT Act. For more info, you may discuss with me on this.

Both are at fault..The issues raised by you relates to cyber law particularly opening fake Face book account etc with the sole intention of defaming the said person. It is definitely punishable offence under section 66 of the Information Technology Act read with Indian penal Code.
