if my bank account run for online gaming for in & out payments got freezed by cyber crime due to a cyber complaint and takes a action upon me if i got arrested if it's a crime then playing a online game also a crime with real money then why only me noticeble as i had done a criminal offence why not who played and lost his money i never forced him to put his hard earnings to play online money or any never scamed him/her asking otp are any passwords to scame their money please think and ask this
Mere participation in online gaming with real money is not automatically a criminal offence. Criminal liability arises only when there is evidence of cheating, fraud, inducement, impersonation, misuse of OTP/passwords, or operation of illegal betting/scam networks.
Freezing of a bank account is a temporary preventive measure adopted during cyber investigation and does not amount to guilt.
If you neither induced the complainant, nor deceived, coerced, or misappropriated funds, arrest cannot be justified solely on lawful gaming transactions. Liability must be based on mens rea (criminal intent) and concrete evidence, not mere receipt of funds.
Selective targeting without proof is legally unsustainable and can be challenged before the Investigating Officer, Magistrate, or High Court for de-freezing and protection.
