Since your mobile was lost on 12 Sep 2024 and CSR now shows “Action Dropped,” it means the police have closed the complaint, likely due to lack of leads. You can now: 1. Submit a representation to the Station House Officer requesting reopening of the case, attaching CSR copy and IMEI details. 2. Register your mobile’s IMEI on ceir gov site to track/block it if reused. 3. File an RTI asking why action was dropped and what steps were taken. 4. Approach the Magistrate under Sec 156(3) CrPC to direct the police to investigate, if police remain inactive.
