A co-workers harassing me mentally

I am a female at my co-workers company and am getting harassed by his wife constantly that I am holding a illegal affair with her husband. I would like her to be punished for causing me mental distress + am becoming suicidal and planning to leave my job to avoid this harassment.
She needs to be taught a lesson for unnecessarily taunting the image of me and my mental peace of mind
Hi...in the first instance u warn her that if she continue to harras you then you will take legal action against her and then also she is continues her act then you go and complain to your jurisdictional police and request the police to cal her to the station and warn her.
