Will my juvenile records be destroyed ?

03-Jun-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I had a juvenile case on me but now it is compromised . I wanted to know if I can go to the police station to get my record destroyed. There was no FIR only a GD or SD entry acc. to JJ Act. 2015. According to JJ Act . It was Petty in nature and all sections were compoundable .I hope for a fast answer.

No records can be destroyed by anyone in whatsoever capacity his is sitting. That will be an abuse of process of law. hence in no manner, no documents can be destroyed at any cost. If the case is settled then there is nothing to worry. just keep a certified copy of the order with you in case of contingency.

there's no need to worry about that. Juvenile Justice Act itself provides for the privacy of juveniles. The name of juveniles are nowhere disclosed. So please stay worry free as your juvenile case will not cause any trouble to you in future.
