In the FIR there is written u/s 380. How far is it possible for the accused to get bail? Will he easily get bail? What will be the minimum term of his imprisonment?

bail would depend on the actual case of the prosecution how the FIR has been drafted and how much incriminating material is available or how custodial interrogation is absolutely necessary. per contra the loopholes in the FIR and also stand of prosecution will ultimately go to determine the ease or difficulty in getting bail. there is no minimum term prescribed. however the max term is 7 years of imprisonment.

under section 380 ipc if you want bail then you have to apply for anticipatory bail so that you can get bail or if bail is not granted then if conviction is given then their will be imprisonment for seven years or with fine both..

only 380 can not be there, I should go through the F.I.R first, and its dealing with theft actually, where minimum 14 days to maximum 90 days time period need for bail. is he a habitual offender? how many days he is in jc?
