Wife filed ipc 313 and now turning hostile

My wife filed ipc 313 & 498a case against me. I have sufficient proofs to defend my case but now my lawyer in coalition with my wife lawyer is telling that case trail last for at least 4 years and nw your wife is ready to turn hostile which will end up case soon.
I am preparing for Govt Jobs and if I get job,it would disqualify me if witness turns hostile as per previous judgmnts. But my lawyer is telling he would submit proofs and acquittal be on merits. Is dis possible or my lawyer misguidng

Rightly or wrongly you will get acquittal order. Your wife will turn hostile to facilitate the judgment of acquittal it does not effect your future career. Take second opinion on the basis of charge sheet records and other history of your case.
