My wife father is sending me threatening messages, about hurting me and going to jail. What action can be taken or how will i be protected from this.

you have a recorded that voice conversation you can file a defamation case against him. so you will prepare in feature recorde evedance ial proof if in future your wife filed a froud dowry case it can useful and if she filed a domestice voilance case also. it is useful to you
