Which Case To File Against The Bogus Call Of Gun Firing

Hi...yesterday my neighbour make a call at 100 that I have made a gun fire shot in front of them to threathen them. After police came and inspected the site and marked the call as bogus.. i want to know as which case should i file against them regarding their fake/ bogus call that i have fired a gun shot.. i am a govt employee... thanku

Firstly you can file a defamation case, both criminal and civil for this act.
Secondly, you can file a criminal case for harassment and torture for humiliation.
There is a well-settled law wrt the vicious complaint. Taking state authorities for granted is always treated as serious offense

Dear querist in my considered opinion you can avail the following legal remedies against this malicious act of the person : (1) File an intallah peshbandi with the concerned SHO and DCP concerned.(2) Complaint under section 182 IPC can be initiated.
